The PLUG assembles four tongue-and-groove stretcher bars into one frame automatically in lightening speed. It is available as a stand-alone or optionally as an integrated, process-controlled machine for up- and downstream workflow applications.
You can expect production yields of about 40 units per minute, depending on if your operator can keep up with the magazine loading and frame output handling. Only one semi-skilled, non-technical operator is required for production.
The retooling time for format changes is approximately 2 minutes.
The machine comes equipped to process standard stretcher strips with heights of 1,9 cm / 0.75 inches and 2,0 cm / 0.79 inches.
Other dimensions up to 4,0 cm / 1.58 inches are optional. The standard widths for processing are 3,5 cm / 1.38 inches and
4,5 cm / 1.77 inches.
Through its integration into automated stretcher manufacturing, the PLUG is ideal in combination with the MHP SpeedF or the SP.
